SHOCK and AWE Productions provided raised trussing, front lighting, stage wash, moving light fixtures, special effects, lighting programming and operation, for the December 14, 2022 Trans Siberian Orchestra annual Tribute show in Lawrenceville, Ga. This makes our 7th year since first being invited on the team back in 2015.
This annual event happens one time in one location, and entertains a full attendance of 2300, with the music of Trans-Siberian Orchestra, performed by a 17 piece band, which includes 3 lead guitarists, drums, bass, 2 keyboardists, percussionist, and various lead vocal ranges. If you have seen or know of the true Trans-Siberian Orchestra, then you know their music is not only amazing but they have an elaborate stage and lighting set up as well.
SHOCK & AWE designs the show to look like a million dollars, though the budget isn’t anywhere near that. We look at our inventory and create options to fit the look we all want to represent on stage. We have a vast selection of moving lights which can create specific looks, fixed par LED RGB lights for color wash and looks, fog machines / cryo foggers / hazers / lasers / cold sparks / CO2 cryo jets / area size confetti canons / dry ice machine, and more, for the perfect special effects, crowd lights to involve your attendees, both vertical and horizontal trussing, and anything needed to accompany the live music presentation we are working on. We try to make each year bigger and better for this event, our client is always impressed with our efforts, and the concert goers talk about it for months afterward. This was no exception for 2022, as the crowd erupted in a standing ovation for the conclusion for the show.
